 ASP.NET Developer

ESP is a 20-person company that provides enterprise-class Data-Driven Decision Making (D3M) applications and services to state- and district-level education agencies. We have several multi-million dollar, multi-year contracts with state education agencies. We have developed the DataSpecs ™ and CourseWalk™ products to aid state education agencies and school districts in:

  • Creating and maintaining a data dictionary including extensive metadata, business rules, and mapping to national data standards
  • Crosswalking local course codes to district, state, and national course codes

We have a group of excellent and carefully selected software and QA engineers from fine Austin software companies.

Software Engineer Position Description

This full time role is for a self-motivated developer with experience in all phases of ASP.NET Web Forms development, to assist in developing and maintaining education metadata management and course matching web applications.

 Java Developer

ESP is a 20-person company that provides enterprise-class Data-Driven Decision Making (D3M) applications and services to state- and district-level education agencies. We have developed the State Report Manager (SRM) to automate data collection, business rule validation and reports with State Report Manager. This product is a 3-tier web application built on Java and it makes extensive use of contemporary open source technology. We are growing development to further increase the capabilities of the State Report Manager. We have a group of excellent and carefully selected software and QA engineers from fine Austin software companies.

Software Engineer Position Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design and development of core data collection components and features of ESP's Java-based State Report Manager web application. You will be a member of a small, highly skilled development team creating products for ESP's state-level education customers. You will work in a close-knit team environment where teamwork and camaraderie are highly valued. This is a great opportunity to develop products in a small but established company which is growing to meet the needs of new customers. This position reports to the head of Product Development.
